PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE England’s Strongest Man 2017 Most of us love watching strongmen as they don our TV sets at Christmas. From lifting cars to pulling buses and trucks what these guys can do is pretty phenomenal. Run by Rebel Strength, on behalf of Glen Ross’s Ultimate Strongman, England’s strongest man doubles up as a UK Qualifier for UK’s strongest man, the top three progressing through to the Belfast final. The event took place at Deansgate Ridge Athletics Track Rochester on Saturday 24 th June. Events included a gruelling log lift, Giant tyre flip, Deadlift Medley, sandbag loading and a one on one pole push event. England’s current strongest man, Paul Smith was in a confident mood of defending his title but was up against a strong field of athletes.
